Thanks for attending the clinic Lisa. We recommend 8-10 weeks of practising what we teach in the clinic to see the true results. Because you’re changing habits and developing new motor patterns the first 4–6 weeks after a clinic you can expect the stroke to feel uncomfortable. Some swimmers will get faster right away, some will get slower until the muscle memory has developed and you’ve gained the strength in the different muscle groups.
