Particpant/instructor ratio 1:3 was fantastic. Brenton and Anthony were approachable, aware and as you would expect of Brenton especially really know their stuff. We had a big range of abilities and ages and the analysis and advice was really particular to each one of us. It was good to share in everyone's video analysis for good aspects of technique and terrific to be able to hone in on a couple of significant areas to improve in your own style. Specific remedial drills also very good. I know it sounds like it but this is not an AI review!
I recently attended a freestyle swimming clinic and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The small group setting created a supportive and focused environment, allowing for personalised attention from the coach. The session was thoughtfully structured, combining targeted drills with immediate, constructive feedback that helped me clearly understand what I was doing wrong and how to correct it.
One of the most valuable aspects of the clinic was the use of video recordings—capturing my technique at both the beginning and end of the session. This visual feedback made a huge difference in helping me recognise specific areas for improvement and track my progress after applying the drills.
Overall, it was a well-run, insightful clinic that not only improved my technique but boosted my confidence in the water.
