Brenton is very knowledge and is able to take a technical sport and break it down into easy to understand bite size chucks.
Our group of 6 all left with clarity on the areas of the stroke that needed to be worked on whilst all improving in the final swim video taken at the end of the clinic (vs. the video taken at the beginning of the clinic).

Fantastic experience. I have received swim coaching before but this is experience is unparalleled. Brenton not only identifies where improvements can be made but also explains how this will achieve a faster and more efficient stroke. The video analysis allowed me to understand my body position and through the drills translate this to feel. Well worth the money. Thanks Brenton.

Excellent session. We had before and after videos taken underwater from the side and front and also above water from the top. I have watched numerous videos from Effortless Swimming and have learned a lot from watching those but there's nothing like being critiqued by Brenton himself. He is superb at explaining the whys of everything in swimming. and started by discussing a video of a really good swimmer. Then he gave a critique of our before videos and suggested the two or three things we should focus on for improvement. Back in the pool, we practiced a series of drills focusing on stroke entry, set up, pull and recovery. He kept things simple. He explained exactly why we were doing each drill. Then we incorporated those movements into our freestyle. Then we had our after video taken. Then out of the pool again and our after videos were critiqued. I left with a good sense of what I need to work on. I drove 7 hours round trip for this session and it was worth every minute of that drive. I'm so glad I went and will attend again when Brenton returns to southeast Queensland. If you're really interested in improving your freestyle stoke, I highly recommend attending this session.
